Get Rid of Slow Logons in Windows 7

Open the Registry Editor
(click on the Start orb, type in regedit and hit Return)
. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
and right-click in the right-hand pane of the editor.
Click on “New” and “DWORD (32-bit) Value” and name the new value
DelayedDesktopSwitchTimeout.
